Isogai san is the 3rd generation to run this family restaurant. Great value for lunch
View on GoogleI’d wanted to visit for a long time, but hadn’t had cash on hand, so this was my first visit. Everyone, including the chef, had such wonderful personalities, and the chirashi sushi looked colorful and was really delicious!! The tatami room apparently holds around 20 people! They said evenings are delivery-only, but you can also dine in if you call! Apparently the shop has a 90-year history.
View on GoogleWeekend lunch! Are they only open on weekends? The chirashi sushi was delicious. One person does all the cooking, so serving takes quite a while and you need to allow plenty of time. Considering the price and taste, the value is astonishing!!
View on GoogleA neighborhood sushi shop that has been operating in Komazawa for a long time. At lunchtime they serve chirashi sushi, and apparently nigiri is also available if you ask. Apparently evenings are currently delivery-only. It’s a small shop with tables and a counter, but has the homey feel of a local establishment. The chef is friendly and shared lots of stories about the shop’s history and memories of Komazawa University students.
View on GoogleThe chef and his wife were both so lovely! The lunch chirashi sushi was delicious and so reasonably priced that I thought, “Wait, this much food and variety for this price?!” Apparently it’s a long-established shop that’s been around for 89 years. I’ll be back☺️
