Nice little Italian spot run by a single chef. For antipasti we tried the smoked egg “pastrami” (just a smoked egg with a peppercorn crust, no meat) which was fantastic, the fish carpaccio (also great), and the chicken liver pâté which was delightfully light, fluffy and creamy, with a generous portion. For mains we had the bismarck pizza which was a mascarpone base (not tomato sauce) and was much better than expected. The perfectly chewy and flavourful doughy crust is what made it i think. Definitely tastier dough than a lot of places👍🏼. Also had the grilled eggplant arrabiata pasta with an off-menu request of pancetta topping (definitely a good move). Pasta was very fresh tasting and the sauce was simple but flavourful with a hint of spiciness. Very nice. They also gave us a little dish of some jalapeño sauce which complemented all of the mains perfectly. The house wine and lemon liqueur spritzer were both good, and everything was very reasonably priced. Solid bang for buck here. Recommended.
View on GoogleI visited for the first time on a dinner date. The restaurant is small, with a stylish interior that has the warmth of wood. The calm atmosphere let us enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. The prices are relatively reasonable too, making it an approachable Italian restaurant. This time we ordered tai carpaccio, margherita, and 日本一のミートソース. The tai carpaccio was especially delicious and fresh, a dish I'd definitely want to eat again. The margherita went wonderfully with the special Tabasco, letting us enjoy a change of flavor. 日本一のミートソース featured chewy, udon-like noodles that held the sauce well and tasted delicious. Although one person was running everything, the food arrived relatively quickly, and they were attentive to water refills and other needs, making for a pleasant time. Just one thing: perhaps because of the weather, the meat dishes were in limited stock and couldn't be ordered at dinner, which was a little disappointing. Also, the restaurant felt a bit hot that day, so slightly stronger air conditioning would make it more comfortable. Overall, I was very satisfied and would like to visit again if I have the chance.
View on GoogleAn Italian restaurant by the north exit of Kyodo Station. The drawback is that it's on the 2nd floor, so it's easy not to notice or to overlook. I went at lunchtime and chose the lunch option. It was 2200円 before tax. With what's shown in the photo, I found it satisfactory. The area around Kyodo Station has plenty of good restaurants that are more affordable than those around Sakurashinmachi Station yet still delicious, so I often find myself heading this way.
View on GoogleThis restaurant is on the 2nd floor along the street beside Corty, in front of Kyodo Station. It's a small place, with about 4 tables and 5 or 6 counter seats. It's entirely non-smoking, accepts various payment methods including せたぺい, and orders are placed by QR code. I visited at lunchtime on Saturday, and whether it was just that day or not, the chef in the kitchen was handling everything from cooking to service alone. I had the pasta and soup set. Both were seasoned with just the right amount of salt, and the green chili paste served with the pasta added a delicious accent.
View on GoogleIt's surprisingly spacious: 7 or 8 counter seats and 7 or 8 tables for 2, which can of course be pushed together into tables for 4. It said Japan's number-one meat sauce, so I hesitated, but since it's winter, I chose the oyster cream sauce pasta. It had 5 sautéed oysters, spinach, and bacon, I think. It was delicious. The jalapeño added a nice accent too.
