Friendly little yakitori joint staffed by a trio of kids. Yakitori omakase very good but a little tame. Went for the “potato salad” everyone recommends - not really potato salad, more like a hash-brown bomb (cheese on top!). Tasty but too much for one. Anyway glad I found this place after getting shut out of a couple others.

Yakitori tastes not bad. It's good to try once if you have time. Very close to Sancha eki.

Located right near the station with seating on the 2nd floor, so it's surprisingly spacious. The staff seemed busy the whole time but were very pleasant. The rare skewers and cheese-stuffed peppers were especially delicious. The only downside was the payment process, which felt a bit unclear and old-fashioned (Showa era).

On this day, I went to Tori Jiro with my partner, a place whose yakitori aroma always catches my attention on my way home from the station. The interior has 7 counter seats on the 1st floor and about 16 table seats on the 2nd floor. It had a very friendly, classic yakitori izakaya atmosphere. We ordered the following: Chilled tomato Yakitori Oyakodon Potato salad 4 drinks Total 7,300 yen We had all the yakitori with salt: thigh, negima, shishito, heart, asparagus wrap, liver, tsukune, etc. Everything was delicious, but personally, the tsukune was wonderful. The oyakodon to finish the meal really hit the spot.

The first floor has counter seats, so you can drink in peace even if you're alone. The grilled items were consistently delicious, and the signature potato salad had a crispy texture that was an exquisite accent, also very tasty. I would like to visit again.
