Food was okay, but service was horrible (worst experience ever). Owner (also chef) of the restaurant was terrible, showed no respect for customers. Definitely won’t go back again.

An easy place to visit even on your own. The oden goes without saying, but the grilled mochi served with dashi is superb too. I also look forward to the daily changing otoshi every time.

Gentle oden broth. The scallion pizza has a lovely Japanese flavor when eaten with soy sauce. I've found a place I'd like to come eat at in winter. For finishing the meal, the mochi is the best.

For me, there aren't many additional menu options, but they're carefully prepared and delicious. 当八, the sake with the same name as the restaurant, is crisp yet flavorful. If I lived nearby, I'd come here all the time… The おでん goes without saying…

The owner? The old man's attitude was bad. I saw the edamame being taken out of a frozen-food bag. The ume something-or-other also used ume paste from a tube. Is anything homemade?
