A hidden authentic Thai food restaurant that has continued since 2007 in Shimokitazawa, 'Titchai'. We provide authentic Thai cuisine recognized by Thai people, such as Pad Thai, Gapao rice with real Gapao, the most popular Gai Yang, Som Tum (can request less spicy), etc. Time-limited Khao Niao Mamuang is also recommended. There are plenty of alcohol types, a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy while drinking at dinner. I really enjoyed my meal here. It’s got a great vibe which gives off an authentic Thai feeling. They’ve got all the Thai beers, which helps bring out the authenticity. And then there’s the food, which was delicious. I love pad gaprao, but don’t order it a lot, but I wanted it here and I’m glad it got it. It was tasty, spicy, and that egg was perfect. And the som tam was a great representation of what you’d actually get in Thailand. The server was fast and friendly too, making this a great spot to get your Thai food fix.

This is an amazing Thai restaurant! The restaurant owner is an amazing person and being a single person chef, the food and ambience is amazing! The chef can accommodate several vegan option! I highly recommend their som tam- papaya salad! The coconut soup was soulful! The music and the food, I am going there several times!

The food was pretty good, full of flavors and properly spicy! Gapao rice was my personal winner, very delicious! Good papaya salad too. On that day there was a leftover soup from lunch time, and the lady working in the store kindly let us get it for free :) Nice bonus! Every dish can be adjusted to be made vegan/vegetarian. But you have to pay extra ¥200 for every adjusted dish, which doesn’t really make sense to me, as tofu/soy meat is definitely cheaper than meat/fish/shrimps. Very big minus for me was the speed. Everything was very very slow and it took ages to get our food prepared

Finding the flavors of Thailand in Japan is what I was looking forward to the most I was very excited to eat in this restaurant after my friend told me about it and it didn't disappoint. As a vegetarian, I was able to get the vegan version of thai specialties which is a relief, especially in Japan The prices are fair and the service is good I will definitely come back when I visit Tokyo again

I recently moved to Tokyo from Los Angeles, and I’ve been missing my spicy Southeast Asian cuisine. I’ve tried notable Thai restaurants in Tokyo, but many of them leave much to be desired. Thai food can be a big hit or miss in Tokyo, but this unassuming establishment did not let me down. I requested for the grapao to be ~extra~ spicy and was not disappointed. It’s ran by the loviest family and I will be coming back whenever I’m in the area.
