台北餃子 経堂張記Taihoku Gyoza Kyodo Cho Ki
”張記 鍋貼牛肉麺”, a long-established, popular restaurant beloved by locals and tucked away in a back alley near Ximen in Taipei, Taiwan, has arrived in Setagaya for the first time! Unlike Japanese gyoza, these contain no garlic at all, so you do not have to worry about the smell. They use Japanese-grown yellow chives that have a milder aroma and are softer and sweeter, making the dumplings wonderfully delicious and full of umami. 『You crave them from the moment you wake up』 『You never get tired of them, no matter how many you eat』 These dumplings offer a whole new experience that overturns everything you thought you knew about gyoza!

They did great to decorate this store as same as the one in Taipei. Although the portion is a bit poor, it still tasted well. Don’t miss out if you are looking for a dumpling shop in the local society.
View on GoogleOrdered this set of a little bit of everything and that came like this! It had some veggie meals, mapo tofu, spring rolls and Taipei style fried chicken. We also had fried gyoza and boiled gyoza and they are all delicious. (And a small plus was when we ordered plain rice. It came with some pickles and it was really good too!) It was a little too much food for two girls but surprisingly cheap. It definitely made us feel like we were in Taiwan here.
View on GoogleGreat Taiwanese food. Dishes are full of flavor and well presented. Staff are very attentive, chatty and kindly explain everything to you. The chili shrimp and maple cheese dumplings are a must! Can’t wait to go back.
