Really loved the oldschool ramen shop environment that this place gives out. Ramen itself is made with alot of care and dedication which shows in the flavor. Its a one man shop but its fun to see the whole process of your food made infront of you. The owner looks abit scary but he is super friendly. Would definitely come here again !
View on GoogleThe flavor was ordinary, with nothing particularly distinctive. The chashu was also ordinary rather than fall-apart tender. The mini chashu bowl had finely chopped chashu and green onions mixed with sesame oil.
View on GoogleIt was a straightforward shoyu ramen. The base felt like it was meant for miso ramen. The menu was written on a blackboard inside. I only noticed after sitting down. Several toppings seemed to be available, but since it was my first time, I ordered shoyu ramen; everyone around me was ordering miso ramen. Water is self-service, and there were a few manga volumes too. It's far from the nearby train stations, but I think it's a good lunch spot when visiting 次代夫掘 Park by rental bicycle or the like.
View on GoogleThe chicken-bone-based tonkotsu shoyu ramen was delicious. The noodles were ordinary, but the soup had depth. At 600円, I have no complaints at all. If anything, I wonder whether the people writing scathing reviews consider the balance between price and taste. It's the kind of flavor I'd crave once in a while, but considering the value and the owner's demeanor too, it was a good place. I'll be back.
View on GoogleVisited around noon on a day off in August 2020. Inside there is only an L-shaped counter, with room for perhaps about 10 people. About 2 groups were already there. I ordered the 850円 shoyu ramen and chashu bowl set, listed as the most popular on the menu, from the owner working alone. It arrived after about 6 minutes. The toppings were 1 small slice of chashu, about 10 bean sprouts, around 3 pieces of menma, 1 small sheet of nori, and a scattering of chopped green onions. It looked a little meager. A sign said the soup was 'simmered with 10 ingredients, mainly pork bones,' but it tasted somewhat vague and lacked punch. Perhaps it contains lots of vegetables. The noodles were soft with a slightly chewy springiness. The chashu bowl came in a rice bowl with a decent amount of topping and tasted good. For this price, I think it's a very well-done dish.
