A neighborhood Chinese restaurant established in 1966. Counter seats are available. It was quiet, so I sat at a table for 2. ■Miso stir-fried eggplant and green peppers 830 yen ※special set Instead of Chinese soup, it came with akadashi, unusual for a Chinese restaurant. With fried tofu and wakame, it was a welcome bowl for someone from Nagoya like me. The rice was cooked just right. The main dish was miso stir-fried eggplant and green peppers. It included crisp onions and green peppers, plus quite a lot of small pork pieces. Not too sweet and slightly spicy, with a rich seasoning that really made the rice go down. For a set meal, both the rice and main dish were a little small, leaving me slightly unsatisfied, but it was delicious. I'm curious about the uncooked gyoza and spring rolls for takeaway. Several groups came to buy them while I was eating.

The gyoza had a good garlic kick, and the sauce coated the Shanghai yakisoba perfectly—delicious. It was lunchtime, so apparently dishes may be served out of order depending on what you order.

I ordered fried rice and gyoza, and the quality was wonderful! They were so delicious that those alone make me want to become a regular. A neighborhood Chinese restaurant like this is a local gem I hope stays around forever.

The gyoza here is superb. The filling has plenty of cabbage—really delicious gyoza. Perhaps the best gyoza in the area. The 320 yen price is good too. Ramen is reasonably priced at 550 yen. Around lunchtime on days off, local middle-aged guys come streaming in for beer, gyoza, and Shaoxing wine. A good place.

I visited for lunch sometime after 13:00 one day. After entering and taking a counter seat, I ordered moyashi soba from the extensive menu typical of a neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Everyone around me was ordering gyoza. At first glance, the moyashi soba looked more like tanmen with a thick sauce added than moyashi soba. I ate my way through, huffing at the piping-hot sauce and taking care not to burn myself. It was a somehow nostalgic moyashi soba. Seeing snapshots of Kotoshogiku and Hakuho displayed on the counter, a powerful longing for the rounded anko-type sumo physique welled up inside me, and this moyashi soba renewed my resolve to graduate from the lean sop-type build. A passionate human drama contained in one full bowl. Throwing myself into a sea of soup, dancing wildly through the noodles. And my ramen travels continue. Thank you for the meal.
