The ramen is delicious. The restaurant uses a ticket vending machine system for ordering. However, to be honest, the customer service is not particularly good.
View on GoogleI visited on Sunday for lunch. We ordered だし玉そば, チャーシュー塩そば, and 親子丼, and everything was delicious. The だし玉 had a good balance of savory saury and tuna broth and rich soy sauce, with a soup you want to drink to the very last drop. The salt soba had a more pronounced seafood aroma and an elegant, deep flavor. Both paired wonderfully with the homemade noodles containing whole wheat flour. The char siu was moist and tender, and the seasoned egg was perfectly prepared. The 親子丼 was also delicious, with a well-developed broth flavor.
View on GoogleWhy people choose this place… I visited near my parents’ home at 11時40分 on a sunny Sunday. The famous restaurant near the nearest station already had about 6 people waiting outside, so I came here. I got in immediately. They seemed to seat people with one seat left empty between them. About 3 seats were open, but someone arriving at 11時50分 was told to wait by the pole outside. The seats are spaced fairly widely, so I felt having someone next to you wouldn’t be particularly bothersome, but that must be their policy. Before long, the salt-flavored ramen I ordered arrived. The noodles are straight and thin, with a gentle flavor that’s very appealing. As pictured, the broth was perfectly clear and a little oily, but very light and delicious, without any fishiness. I felt there was a little too much oil, so next time I’ll ask for less. The ginger vinegar went well with it, and I finished it in one go. As written out front, their concept is homemade food with a reassuring flavor. Given that, the flavor and price are quite impressive. It tastes very clean and healthy, without any muddled flavors. This seems likely to be why people choose it even though its lowest price is higher than the nearest restaurant’s. I suspect that within the Yamanote Line, they’d need to charge about 100円 more to serve this. To add to the opening story, the waiting customer was shown to a seat vacated by an earlier customer after about 6 minutes, but their noodles arrived immediately. I think it’s a rare restaurant that combines efficiency and service so well. It seems to be run by 2 people who appear to be a married couple. I hope they keep it up.
View on GoogleI had 中華そば(950円). The soy sauce broth uses saury and tuna and has a pronounced savory flavor. The homemade noodles are medium-thin, nearly straight, and smooth. I ordered them firm, but since the noodles have plenty of body, the normal cooking time might be just right. The char siu seemed like end cuts, and the menma was thin. Apparently bicycles and motorcycles should be parked in the parking area at the end of the arcade.
View on GoogleOne of my favorite ramen shops that I visit often. It’s light, but the broth has plenty of flavor, so it’s really delicious!
