Love this place. Ramen made with a lot of love and attention. My favorite is the shio ramen with wonton. The ladies that work there are so kind and caring. Love coming here for the food and the people.

Very, very delicious Ramen, I love the Sojamilk Ramen soup very much, recommended topping is the pork-meet Chilli "ball". Picture menu available and very friendly "Mama"-san is happy to help.

A shop I'd been curious about because it's only open on Saturdays. I finally made it. I arrived a while after opening, but waited about 30 minutes. As expected of a popular shop, there were many regulars, and the inside had the homey atmosphere of an old-fashioned ramen shop. The elderly lady handling payments also had a gentle air, and she seemed to create the shop's atmosphere. This time I ordered the shio ramen. It was light yet had solid umami, and it was delicious. One slight letdown was that the prices listed on Google Maps differed from the actual prices. I had decided on my order and budget in advance and brought cash, so I had to give up the combination of wonton and miso-dama(?) rice I had planned. If I get the chance to go again, I'd like to get my revenge with that combination. Also, there's almost no shade where you line up. In summer you might wait more than 30 minutes, so I recommend going prepared against heatstroke with a hat, drinks, and so on. It was a good old-fashioned ramen shop that clearly is loved by the locals.

A miraculous taste, open once a week “Sairaiken” in Yoga, Setagaya, continues to be loved as a “hidden gem known only to those in the know” thanks to its rarity of being open only on Saturday afternoons. The special feeling of being able to enjoy it only once a week raises the value of a visit, and it's not unusual for a line to form before opening. The inside is a calm space with a somehow nostalgic feel, an atmosphere where you can seriously face your ramen. Its approach of stripping away unnecessary decoration and competing on the perfection of a single bowl is impressive. The simple yet deep flavor has an addictive quality that, once you've tried it, makes you want to wait for the following week — a shop that brings a small joy to everyday life.
