Has it been more than 40 years since it opened? This place has been loved by the people of Sakurajosui for many years. The interior is getting worn, and the owner makes each dish individually, so it takes time when orders pile up, but the taste isn't bad.

Near Sakurajosui Station, with the feel of a neighborhood Chinese restaurant. The sign says “Chinese cuisine,” so it seems authentic. There are also Japanese-adapted set meals, and the weekly special is reasonably priced at 900円. The piping-hot stir-fry is delicious. The soup wasn't quite to my taste. The tantanmen looks good too, so perhaps I'll try it next time.

The taste isn't bad, but you're often kept waiting. I don't feel much care. The item called gomoku vegetables looks like nothing more than stir-fried bean sprouts, and the small side dish is bean sprouts too, wilted at that. 800円 for this is way too expensive. The chopstick holder and soy sauce dispenser are sticky with grease, which is unpleasant.

I ordered the tantanmen set for 1070円 and Tsingtao beer. The spiciness was just right, and the noodles were pleasantly chewy and delicious. The hiyashi chuka also caught my eye.
