Hungry at 11pm and found this place that opens until 3AM. Nice vibe with guests watching FIFA. I ordered the white ramen. Ramen is delicious - soup being rich in flavour but not too salty; lots of pork, veggies, ebi, and seafood coming with soup. My friend ordered the black one, also nice tastes less flavourful. Can clearly taste the flavour of strong frying. With price under 1,000 the size and taste are way above my expectations! Highly recommend to people looking for comforting food at night!
View on GoogleThis is a little tiny ramen counter near Temple's Japan campus. It's not the prettiest place, but when you've been in Tokyo for a while, you learn that these well-worn places tend to be the best. I've been here many times. I regularly eat lunch here between classes. The prices are cheap, especially the lunch set with ramen and 3 gyoza. It's delicious, filling, and exactly what ramen should be. I've tried almost all of their ramen varieties and I plan to try all the ones I haven't. I had the white ramen with seafood, I had the miso ramen, I had the spicy ramen, and something else. They're all good. I think I liked the miso ramen the best so far, but I always tend to prefer miso ramen. Theirs has big chunks of fermented soy and a really rich brown color. It's a little sweet and super umami. All the varieties are loaded with bean sprouts. The spicy one had the perfect amount of spice. All flavor no burn. The seafood ramen could've used a bit more seafood, but it was still delicious. The service is super friendly. The ambience is authentic. The food is delicious. You can't go wrong.
View on GoogleStopped by here as was near my hostel and saw previous rating about garlic ramen, safe to say definitely ticked the boxes as it was delicious ramen broth, beautiful noodles and tender pork! Around $11 for ramen and coke so well price id say. Good to mention it’s single lane seating so real up close n personal homey vibes to it, dude working was an absolute gem too! Arigato!’
View on GoogleRight next door to campus, the place is tucked away and easy to glance over in the first look. The interior is old and filled with love, and the staff are friendly and quick. I always order the Red, and its one of the cleanest and lightest spicy ramens I’ve had in tokyo. Highly recommend.
