This is a solid ramen establishment that while not great, is very good ramen I had a black garlic oil ramen the second time I went which while well interesting, was lacking in garlic flavour so I hence felt a little bit let down. However the first time, I got the tantan ramen which was fresh, full of flavour and probably the best ramen I had in November. There was the Creamy sesame sauce with Slightly thicker noodles than normal and a perfect "al dente texture" so to speak. Then with the soy braised pork, crunchy green onion and the broth which was just the right spice level, it gives you a very well balanced ramen. It was lacking that extra oomph in the pork and broth flavour however it's deserving of the 4 stars.

This ramen place is very close to the Temple University Japan campus. So I tried it one day after work. It was a satisfying lunch at a great price. You order the traditional way, with a ticket machine. There are photos. I picked the one that looked like it had extra slices of meat. I wish I had also gotten an egg in it, but I got a little overwhelmed while trying to make a choice. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, but there was no English spoken. I sat at the counter and watched the chef as he prepped for the next day. The ramen was good. Not the best I've had in Tokyo, but still better than anything I've ever had outside of Japan. The broth was clear and super flavorful, loaded with scallions. I added some of the chile paste to add a little kick. I should've ordered it spicy. They use pork shoulder, as opposed to belly, and I liked that it was a little less fatty, but just as tender. I also really liked the greens, whatever they were, they tasted like fresh spinach. They also give you a lot more nori seaweed sheets than most places. I still don't really understand what I'm supposed to do with the nori, but it tastes good. This time I wrapped it around bites of pork and some noodles, to make a kind on-the-fly hand roll. I wish I had a bib, I ended up with a mess all over my shirt from slurping up the deliciousness. A good place, very clean and bright. Don't hesitate to eat here.

Had passed by this place several times but finally decided to give it a try. Easy to order since they use a vending machine, but difficult if you can’t read Japanese. Prices were great for their sizes and tastiness. I’m personally not a fan of ramen but their gyoza was A tier. Service was quick and good, no complaints about it. Hope to visit again soon.

Best ramen we’ve had in A LONG TIME! Highly recommend the black garlic ramen. Staff were friendly to non-Japanese-speaking people with their limited English.

One of the best ramen places I’ve tried in my one month stay in Japan. I’ve tried a few items on their menus across multiple visits, and my favorite is the option that costs 850 yen. Very little English here, but google translate works easily. Eaten here lots of times, the staff is always very kind.
