This restaurant is typical of privately owned stores in Setagaya, where the male owner is always pouting. If you don't want to see an angry old man's face, don't go there.

The food was very delicious and the staff were very nice.

After watching a live performance at Hitomi Memorial Hall, I was looking for somewhere to have dinner and stopped by this place that came up in a search. Since it was close to last order, there were only regulars at the counter, so I could enjoy a leisurely meal. Everything was delicious, from the carpaccio and meat dishes to the pasta and dessert. The man who seemed to be the owner also appeared friendly from the way he chatted with the regulars. I'd like to visit again if I'm in this area.

That day I was bar-hopping in Sangenjaya. With no particular destination in mind, I wandered around the south-exit side and spotted an Italian restaurant with a promising atmosphere, so I decided to try it. ■おつかれさまセット Drink & pasta set (1,000円) Looking at the menu, I found something called the “おつかれさまセット,” available only until 20:00 on weekdays—a drink & pasta set for just 1,000円! The pasta choices were homemade meat sauce, arrabbiata, tomato sauce, and peperoncino, but the word homemade caught my attention, so I chose the homemade meat sauce. Delicious. I ordered red wine for the drink. ■Mushrooms grilled on an iron plate (680円) I wanted another dish, so I ordered this. The piping-hot mushrooms were fragrant and excellent as a drinking snack. Considering the price, it's a pretty good menu item. There were many other delicious-looking options, and I'd definitely like to order a different pasta next time. The おつかれさまセット is available until 20:00 on weekdays, so I recommend it if you can get there early.

I visited the other day. I enjoyed the pasta and caprese; I had the mushroom and bacon peperoncino and the homemade meat sauce, and personally I preferred the homemade meat sauce. I'd also like to try the cream-based pasta that others recommend. The drink selection was more extensive than I expected, so an all-you-can-drink course sounds fun too. By the way, I posted a photo as well, but the toilet has what looks like a hidden door, which was novel! They pointed at the wall and told me it was the toilet, but I had to think for a while. If you're interested, do visit!
