Went on a Saturday at 7pm. Restaurant mostly empty, waiter refused to take our order, had to call him three times for a single order. Waiter put the bill right in front of our face after 20 minutes even though we weren’t finished eating. After 25 minutes he started to get aggressive, slammed the bill in front of our food, then threatened to call the police on us for not leaving the store.

View on GoogleWhile looking for dinner, I came across this place's reviews. I was a little nervous, but their polite replies to every review actually made me curious enough to visit. Some people describe the owner as quiet, but I didn't find him unpleasant at all. He may not say much, but perhaps he's the type who works hard and concentrates on cooking. That came through in the delicious-looking food he served. First, the otoshi served at the start was delicious^_^!!! Our expectations rose. There were 2 of us, and instead of giving us two of the same thing, they served 2 small bowls with 2 different dishes. (They were large enough to share, so having 2 varieties was lovely. It felt thoughtful.) We also ordered… ・2 kinds of otoshi ・Jimami tofu ・Goya champuru ・Taco rice ・Sanpin tea ・Guava tea ・Shikuwasa soda Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. I love Okinawan food and visit other Okinawan restaurants too, but I was surprised that the portions here were larger than anywhere else. I really recommend it when you want to drink and fill up on delicious food. I eat considerably more than most people, but even I found the portions large, so if you want to try lots of things, I'd recommend the smaller portions also available on the menu. We ordered soft drinks too, and unexpectedly, the reasonably priced sanpin and guava teas came in teapots. What a generous owner… There was so much that we could enjoy all the tea we wanted alongside the food. The food was also seasoned a little strongly, making it seem perfect with alcohol, so next time I'd like to have alcoholic drinks too(^_^) Thank you to the owner for the delicious food and tea. I'll visit again.
View on GoogleDelicious. I suddenly wanted goya champuru, so I stopped by. The atmosphere and owner were both nice. He isn't unfriendly or rude. I suspect the other reviewers may have done something inappropriate toward the restaurant themselves. He was talking about dachibin and Okinawa with a customer who seemed to be visiting for the first time and was probably drunk, so the owner seems like a perfectly nice person. Normally, without a shared topic, it's hard to get a lively conversation going or bring something up. But what did people do to make someone who's working angry? A review bothered me when I was thinking of visiting, so I spent about 30 minutes deciding between sushi I wasn't in the mood for and the goya champuru I wanted. I think the seasoning works for both people drinking alcohol and those just having a meal. You could order goya champuru even in winter. The tempura portion is bigger than expected, so be careful. I ended up leaving some. If you like broth, the aasa-jiru makes a delicious finish, with gentle ginger and kombu flavors. If you like fish broth, I think something else would be better. It wasn't an ara-jiru-style soup.
View on GoogleAn Okinawan restaurant in Sakurashinmachi's Sazae-san Shopping Street🌺 I'd been curious but couldn't get around to going, and finally made it✨ I went in summer, so they had cold Okinawa soba, and it was incredibly delicious…!! I added my beloved Spam onigiri as a side, and it came out in an unbelievable size that left me stuffed🍙 Is it run by just one person at lunchtime? It looked tough, so it seems best to order everything together and go when you have time to spare✨ Next time I want to visit at night as an izakaya🥺
