It's good, just not my bowl of ramen. The pork broth is rich and thick with a good balance of saltiness. However, I found the flavors to be one dimensional, pork umami. It reminds me of a very condensed version Chinese style pork bone soup - which is a good thing for those of you that like the taste. The veggies helps give some cut in the saltiness and when you mix it with rice, very good way to finish. But for me, I'm looking for a little more "pizzazz" if you will.
View on GoogleAn Iekei ramen chain with branches in the neighborhood. The flavor varies quite a bit by location. The Chitose-Karasuyama branch has a rich, thick soup with plenty of bone marrow. It feels a little different from classic Iekei, but is rich and delicious. The chashu is also large, tender, and tasty. The noodles are somewhat thin. The staff look intimidating, but unlike a certain other branch, the service here is professional and pleasant.
View on GoogleFirst visit! Ordered the 900円 ramen. It was full, so I waited outside for 2 minutes. Ordered everything normal! Free rice in this day and age is a welcome surprise, though it was days old and smelled, but since it was free, I ate it gratefully. The ramen itself was classic Iekei! Personally, I quite liked it. The noodles were delicious, and the chashu and nori had no faults either, ◯. The staff provided pleasant service too! I rarely revisit places, but this one is worth it. Thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleDespite bearing the 武蔵家 name, for the past few years they had switched to garbage-like thin noodles, making it a ramen shop I would never visit again! But! In a drunken impulse, I visited thinking rice and soup would be enough!! And the noodles were back!!!! With these noodles, it is unquestionably delicious!! Seriously, why did they switch to thin noodles? Do they know what Iekei is? Did the person who switched to thin noodles get fired? If they switch to thin noodles again, I hope they go out of business.... I want them to keep operating without ever switching to thin noodles again....
View on GoogleI ordered a large ramen with firm noodles and strong seasoning+large rice I appreciate the free rice all day, with large portions and unlimited refills! There are kappa pickles on the table to help yourself to The soup has flavorful kaeshi and pork bone umami, the reliably delicious 武蔵家 taste! The chashu was also smoked, unusual for 武蔵家, and good! I used a nearby paid parking lot
