If you want to enjoy affordable, delicious motsuyaki and tasty alcoholic drinks to your heart's content in 三軒茶屋(三茶), please visit 「もつ焼きばん 三軒茶屋店」. Our casual drinking establishment carries on the tradition of 「ばん」, the birthplace that invented 「レモンサワー」, now a staple of Japanese izakayas. Conveniently located just moments from lively 三軒茶屋 Station, where old and new cultures meet, our welcoming shop is bustling daily with locals, young people, and professionals stopping by after work. Our greatest pride is 「もつ焼き」 made with exceptionally fresh pork offal purchased every morning. Our skilled staff carefully skewer each piece on-site and grill it fragrantly over precisely controlled heat, 1…

A friend of my wife invited us to this spot, tucked away in a small alley full of izakayas. We were probably the only foreigners in the restaurant—maybe even on the whole street! It’s clearly a place well-loved by the locals. The food looks simple but tastes fantastic. The sashimi was fresh, the yakitori was well-marinated and perfectly grilled, and the beef and radish soup was incredibly flavorful and comforting. We also really enjoyed the ponzu-flavored chicken karaage—a refreshing twist on the classic dish. Their drinks were great too! I had both the green tea highball and the red wine highball, and both were really enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful, authentic local izakaya experience—one that we truly appreciated!

The cozy atmosphere typical of a traditional izakaya was perfect. The lemon sour, originated by Motsuyaki Ban, was refreshing! The friendly staff’s welcoming attitude further enhanced the homely feeling, and including the great cost performance, this is definitely a place I can recommend for a casual night out with good friends.

Established in Showa 33, the retro atmosphere is comfortable, and I was impressed by the variety and prices of motsu-yaki! Especially, the lemon sour, which originated from Motsu-Yaki Ban, has an addictive taste, and the staff's kind service gave first-time visitors a sense of reassurance. It's cozy, offers great value for money, and makes you want to visit again soon!
