A small wagashi shop🍡 a 1-minute walk from the west exit of Chitose-Karasuyama Station, recognizable by its “purple” color. Opens at 10:30 and closes when sold out.

My first visit The prices are affordable too. The mitarashi dango had a lovely toasted aroma. The domyoji was delicious and just sweet enough. I imagine some people eat them while walking!

It is a short distance from the west exit of Chitose-Karasuyama Station. The frontage is so narrow you could easily miss it. The dango are reasonably priced at 100円 per skewer, yet soft, not overly sweet, and very delicious. The mame daifuku (150円) was also pleasantly sweet and more substantial than it looked. It was a shame the staff member was rather unfriendly. Cash only.

A wagashi shop where you can buy dango for under 100円. Besides dango, they also have daifuku, kashiwamochi, and more. These are mitarashi, yaki, goma, kinako, zunda, and isobe dango, kashiwamochi (miso filling), and mame daifuku. They were so cheap I ended up buying too much... This all came to about 800円. Everything was sooo delicious!! The individual wrapping is a nice little touch! Each piece is quite large, so I was very satisfied! Also, I suspect their days off may vary by month... The sign said “closures in the first half of June”... And although I saw many reviews saying the staff had a bad attitude, I personally did not particularly think so. The service seemed ordinary enough that I wondered why anyone would specifically mention it in a review... Glad I bought them! Thank you for the food!

A dango shop in Karasuyama, where I grew up, that I would happily eat from every day. Shoyu yaki, isobe dango, mitarashi, anko. I love them all!
