Mintei is a popular local spot, so be ready to wait about 30 minutes for a seat. They have an English menu, which makes ordering easy. The second floor has traditional floor seating that gives off an old, nostalgic vibe. I highly recommend trying the char siu fried rice, which is pink in color and really tasty. The food overall is delicious, comforting, and very reasonably priced. It is one of those classic neighborhood restaurants that make you feel like you have discovered a local favorite.

Missing out if you don’t try this local spot. Get the half and half ra-chan ramen and chahan mix. Gyoza is also fire, will definitely come again.

This place was featured on the Netflix show K-Foodie Meets J-Foodie (미친맛집). We sat on the second floor and ordered the same menu. Overall, the food was good. The ramen had a simple but delicious flavor—not too oily—but it was slightly salty for my taste. The fried rice and gyoza were just as good as expected. The regular Ra-Chan set menu was a good portion for a woman. If you have a bigger appetite, I recommend going for the large size.

Great Chinese meal. Food taste are excellent especially on their fried dishes. Ramen is a little salty for me but the noodle are good. You need to put your name on the paper for the cue. Seating are a bit small so be prepared. Staffs are friendly and helpful. English menu are available and photo are showed. Enjoy !

Incredible fried “pink” rice, dumplings and ramen. Welcoming authentic atmosphere. Our favorite meal in Shimo!
