松軒中華食堂 千歳船橋店Matsu Ken Chuka Shokudo Chitosefunabashi Mise
Our original house-made noodles, produced at our own factory in Fuji, Shizuoka Prefecture, use carefully selected wheat flour and natural water containing vanadium. They are original noodles made with time and care. For soy sauce, in addition to 入正醤油, we use soy sauces selected with the utmost care, and our blended soy sauce tare gives the shoyu ramen a light flavor you'll never tire of. For salt, we use Ako no Amashio among others, and our salt tare blended with a secret dashi has a mellow flavor with no harsh edges. 【Access】2-minute walk from Chitose-Funabashi Station

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. It was past 14:00 on a holiday, so there were only a few customers and it was empty. They were advertising that the shoyu ramen soup had changed, so I had the seasoned-egg shoyu ramen with large noodles and a wonton topping. The soup had a clean taste with a slight richness. The noodles were thin, straight noodles boiled a bit on the soft side. The wonton wrappers were a bit thick and the filling was a little hard too. As I kept eating, the soup felt monotonous and I got bored, so I added pepper, vinegar, and chili oil from the table to change the flavor and finished it. At 1030 yen with the wonton topping, it felt pricey for this soup and noodles. Eating the simple shoyu ramen is the better recommendation, price-wise too.
View on GoogleA Chinese restaurant run by Matsuya; the food itself is generous, relatively affordable, and tasty. However, the system is that you buy meal tickets and pick up your food at the serving counter, and this time I ordered the pork kimchi set meal, 3 gyoza, and a bottled beer, and they were served separately per ticket, so I had to go pick up three times, which was a hassle. If you're only ordering a set meal it's fine, and the menu is appealing, but for a quick drink you have to go buy a ticket each time, so places that serve to your table like Hidakaya, Osho, or Osaka Osho are more convenient.
View on GoogleMatsuken Chuka Shokudo, right by Chitose-Funabashi Station, is a set-meal style restaurant where you can casually enjoy authentic Chinese food. The interior is bright and clean, and there are lots of counter seats, so it's easy to come in alone. They have a full lineup of classics like generously portioned fried rice, gyoza, and ramen, all consistently tasty. The mapo tofu and stir-fried liver with garlic chives in particular are seasoned to go great with rice and are delicious. You order via the ticket machine or mobile order and wait until you're called. The food comes out fast after ordering, making it perfect for lunch or a meal after work. It's good value too, giving the satisfaction of getting the best of both a local Chinese diner and a chain restaurant.
View on GoogleWow, I was surprised. It's tasty. Like, genuinely… It changed from Matsuya and I went in thinking "what even is this?"… ~What I ordered~ Pork kimchi set meal (large rice ← free) 2 spring rolls Karaage crispy and juicy Gyoza packed with filling Pork kimchi crunchy bean sprouts, tastes good too. Genuinely tasty and the portion is pretty big Spring rolls crispy and tasty lol I mean, I love Chinese food. Me. Being able to eat Chinese food this good with a Matsuya-like feel, super satisfied. Lunch break will probably get crowded. If you'd otherwise buy some random bento, you should do takeout here. Next time I'll try other menu items too. Oh, the spring rolls are on the side menu, so definitely get them. Just trust me and try them. It's the result of real corporate effort. Seriously. I hope this review reaches the person in charge at headquarters! Not sure if it's a franchise or company-run, but seriously, I think they should expand this... Thanks for the meal! I'll be back!! (They have alcohol, so it might be good for drinks too lol)
View on GoogleA Chinese restaurant of the Matsuya group, newly opened in the spot Matsuya left after relocating Visited for a weekday lunch while shopping in Chitose-Funabashi. The salt ramen on the menu outside looked tasty, so I bought it at the ticket machine; it's a system where you go pick it up when the number on your ticket is called Visually a clear soup, toppings are shinachiku chopped green onion, and chashu, simple. The noodles are thin. One sip of the soup, the salt flavor is gentle and tasty. The chashu is also tender and tastes good. Reasonable price. I think this simple, tasty, reasonable salt ramen is better than an overly elaborate ramen. Revisit: visited for lunch after the election, the place was crowded. I was going to have the shoyu ramen but there was a half ramen, so I bought the half ramen and 5 gyoza at the ticket machine. Called after about 10 minutes and went to pick it up The ramen is half the amount, menma, wakame chopped green onion, and no chashu. Not much soup, the taste was a bit salty and not to my liking, no good. The gyoza had chewy skins and were packed with filling, normally tasty The price for this was 610 yen, reasonable, but the half ramen had too little soup and was salty, not to my taste. With this, I probably won't order shoyu-type ramen It's a shame, especially since the salt ramen here was so good
