I visited for lunch. It appears on its own in a very quiet residential area, so I'd often walked straight past. It's hard to tell whether it's open, but the owner welcomed me with a gentle expression. I had a salad, main dish, and coffee or tea at a reasonable price!! The homemade bread is dense and has a sweet taste. The meat dish was stewed beef (I don't know its official name). It was very light. Not heavy and easy to eat. The hamburg steak looked delicious too🤤 Although the portions were a little small, I was satisfied!! I'd like to try the other dishes too!! Each dish is prepared carefully, so I recommend visiting when you have time to spare.
View on GoogleI'd been curious every time I passed, so I visited. The cozy interior—was it the lighting? Or the smell?—really reminded me of a restaurant in Italy. Even at an Italian restaurant, my love of noodles means I end up choosing pasta. This time we ordered an Italian salad, Bolognese, and Pescatore. The salad came first before long. A refreshing dressing with a tangy kick. The olives added a nice accent, making it easy to eat enthusiastically. The Bolognese sauce didn't cling to the pasta very well, but it tasted good. However, I ended up eating just minced meat at the end, so I wish it clung a little more (was thicker?). The Pescatore was light too, almost soup-like, you could say. If the tomatoes were reduced more, they'd cling better to the noodles. But perhaps that's a matter of preference? Still, this neighborhood Italian restaurant warmed my heart with the pleasant lady's service! Next time I'd like to try the gratin!
View on GoogleIt's a relaxing restaurant with a homey European atmosphere. I had the hamburg steak set meal for lunch. The portion wasn't very large, but it was reasonably priced, included a drink, and tasted delicious.
View on GoogleThe Italian restaurant “Lafayette St,” tucked away in a residential neighborhood. I wondered why they used shiso leaves even though it wasn't Japanese-style pasta, so I asked… Apparently, herbs were hard to come by when they opened, so they substituted shiso, and that practice has remained. The meat I had for lunch was fall-apart tender and exquisite. -- 【Taste】 ★★★★★ 【Price】 ★★★★☆ 【Atmosphere】 ★★★★★ 【Service】★★★★☆
