The meat was delicious !! We had harami, shin-shin, carubi, roast and liver….Very generous cuts! The accompanying sauces were good, but just a touch of salt is perfect!

I visited on a Sunday evening in late March 2026. It’s along 旧甲州街道, about a ５-minute walk from 千歳烏山駅 on 京王線. There’s no parking lot, so I parked in a nearby paid parking lot. Since it was shortly after opening, we got in smoothly without a reservation. I entered the first-floor restaurant and told them our party size, and was told, “Today it’s the restaurant on basement level one.” I’d visited several times for lunch, but this was my first dinner visit. The restaurant is split between the 1st floor and basement level one, with plenty of seats overall, and we enjoyed a leisurely meal in a calm atmosphere.

The reviews were mixed, so I went in nervously, but we ended up having a reaaally lovely time! It feels wonderfully luxurious, and the meat, namul, yukhoe, and gukbap were all delicious. The staff were constantly rushing around working hard and looked busy, but they were kind and checked on us often, which I appreciated. Food came quickly. Definitely returning. Thank you😊

I received my bonus, so I had dinner at すみれ屋. I wanted to enjoy a balanced selection of yakiniku, so I chose the dinner course 彩りコース. The restaurant’s atmosphere was nice, and our family of 4 had a lovely time in a private room for four. Every dish was delicious, and it also came with gukbap, so I was full. There was plenty of yakiniku for me, and I had beer and one bottle of wine. I think you’ll understand if you look at the photos: the presentation is very beautiful. The menu photos are disappointing, but the actual dishes are very attractive and delicious. It was a satisfying dinner. Thank you for the meal.

I love their lunch special and go often. It always fills up quickly, so I recommend going around 11：30! It’s expensive at night, but perfect for celebrations! Everything is delicious, right through to the final dessert.
