地理系ブックカフェ空想地図Kūsō Chizu
Geography Book Café Kuso Chizu (Fantasy Maps) is a book café that's something of a “holy land for geography lovers,” where map and geography fans gather from all over the country. It's a “geography-specialty” café rare even in Japan, lined with geography-related books on atlases, old maps, travel, railways, cities, place names, World Heritage sites, borders, terrain, roads, urban development, and more. Inside, you can freely browse the books, and it's a space where conversations naturally spring up among geography lovers. Also recommended for those who love travel, city walks, trains, and trivia. Quite a few people say, “I was looking at maps and several hours went by.” Omurice, curry, pasta, parfaits, and more, packed with geography references—originals… you can only taste here

This pudding is called "Ayers Rock style pudding." It's topped with Genji Pie, strawberries, vanilla ice cream, nuts, and whipped cream. The pudding is slightly firm and has a retro feel. The vanilla ice cream has lots of vanilla beans, making it taste even better with the pudding. The presentation is beautiful, so it's great for Instagram. I also tried the omelette rice, and it was delicious. If you don't like sweet things, you should try dishes like omelette rice or spaghetti Napolitan. This café is recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time in a calm atmosphere.
View on GoogleWent there with my friend in November last year, it's such a shame so little people know about this place! All the maps are so fantastic, next time I come to Japan I'll make sure to donate one or two of my own
View on GoogleGreat little spot with maps from all over the world. Great food and service!
View on GoogleI came on a recommendation from a friend at Komazawa University. The hamburg steak and coffee were delicious, but the vanilla ice cream in the parfait was especially good.
View on GoogleI was curious and came for the first time, and it was a lovely café where I could relax! I had the matcha cream anmitsu and a hot coffee, and it felt nostalgic and heartwarming ☺︎ There were lots of books, so I think it'd be nice to come spend a relaxing time here on my days off too ✨
