Old school ramen place. Good cheap food, ramen set with gyoza was exactly what I hoping for. Not exactly squeaky clean, (even though kitchen is fine), but that’s also not why you would go to old ramen shops for.
View on GoogleThey have specific menu “Salt ramen noodle using salt from Christmas Island”. Fried gyoza(dumpling) tastes so nice even size is small.
View on GoogleIt really feels like an old-fashioned neighborhood shop! I visited for lunch. Not many other places nearby were open, so I was glad this one was. I ordered the 辛口涼麺, which was listed as a staple on the menu. It had some tanginess, with just the right level of heat even for people who aren't particularly good with spicy food. I suppose it's like a spicy hiyashi chuka with different toppings. Personally, I preferred it to the usual hiyashi chuka you find around. You could say the interior has character, but even being generous, I wouldn't call it clean-looking. It doesn't bother me, but I feel women might find it a little hard to walk in. My other impressions were the wide menu selection and the low prices for sets and such. There are both tables and counter seats, so I think it's fairly easy to visit with up to about 4 people.
View on GoogleThis is a neighborhood Chinese restaurant in front of Daitabashi Station. I ordered the ramen set because it was good value. The gyoza, served with mustard and grated daikon, had soft wrappers and were flavorful and delicious. The ramen had a standard flavor, but the broth was tasty.
View on GoogleThis is a ramen shop in front of Daitabashi Station. I wonder why it's called コント. I went inside and ordered. I chose the コントらーめん, which was marked as recommended. It costs 700円. After a short wait, the bowl arrived. It's not amazingly delicious, but it's a properly made shoyu ramen. I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal.
