Apparently they close at 2 and I came in just after 1:40. The owner lady was super surly when I ordered and then at 2:05 she came to basically tell me to leave when I was halfway through eating.

Hearty meal, and very cheap for tokyo standards. Ebi furai is fresh, and hotate furai is meaty.

Cheap! Delicious! Some reviews call it home-cooking level, but I think it's a lovely place where you can easily enjoy delicious home-style food! I ordered the omuhayashi. There was surprisingly plenty of rice too, so I was very satisfied. Around 13:30 on weekdays it's not crowded at all, and you can take your time eating. A good neighborhood set-meal restaurant! Update I had the katsu curry on another day🍛 It was so delicious and generously portioned that I thought this might be the ultimate choice here...!

I've been coming here 1–2 times a year since it opened, and my order is almost always the meat omelet set plus an extra dish—simple and good! Prices have gradually risen over about 25 years, but it's still cheap, a rare kind of set-meal restaurant. I'll come back again~

A neighborhood Japanese-style Western restaurant. I regularly drop in casually. It's not unbelievably delicious, but the daily specials and other menu items are thoughtfully planned and satisfying. The affordable prices are nice too.
