Takoyaki George closed on August 31, 2025. Since October 1, 2025, we have been operating as [Kushiyaki George]. *Please note that we do not serve takoyaki. For takeout, we reheat pre-grilled skewers and hand them to you warm. Of course, if you'd prefer them freshly grilled, please let us know. If you can give us about 10 minutes, we'll accommodate you. Our skewer varieties include chicken, pork, vegetables, fish cakes, fish, and more, and the menu changes daily. Please choose according to your mood that day. Only customers ordering alcohol may enter the shop. As the shop is small, customers not placing additional orders will be asked to leave; thank you for your understanding. One man shop who offers chicken karaage and takoyaki. It is near Komazawa Park. This is a good spot if you like to try street foods made by a local rather than a chain restaurant. I agree with the other reviewer… the takoyaki was a bit lukewarm. It would’ve tasted better if it were made fresh. However, I had low blood sugar so I couldn’t wait 10 min for the new batch. The chicken was very good too! Nice warm and crispy. I wish he had more available so I could eat more! There are outside camping chairs available. It’s a good spot to loiter or a late evening casual hang out spot.

Super good takoyaki! And the owner is very kind. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in Komazawa.

It has "tako" and it has "yaki" - exactly what I wanted. Not too expensive. Five stars.

I like karaage and takoyaki, so I tried buying some, but With the karaage, I could tell the spices are the selling point, but whether it was the oil temperature or because it was frozen, it was dry, and it reminded me of the buffet at a cheap hotel overseas. (The oil drained well, so it wasn't bad-tasting) The takoyaki batter was chewy and tasty, but the octopus was small, and there was so much sauce it felt like I was eating sauce Maybe the quality varies depending on who makes it, such a waste of a shop

I visited the day after it opened. I bought takoyaki with sauce & mayonnaise and with green onion ponzu, plus curry chicken and warabimochi. The takoyaki was good too, but the chicken was freshly fried and really delicious. There's also a drink menu, but there's no space to eat in; they said it's takeout only. For payment, it looked like QR code payments could be used in addition to cash. Prices are fairly reasonable too, so I'd like to come back when I'm craving takoyaki.
