You can enjoy oden and sake with veRy reasonable price. A master who is called shige-san makes me comfortable.
View on Google【Sakaba Horoki pilgrimage】 Set B is a good-value set with 4 oden pieces+2 yakitori skewers for 1000円. You can choose the ingredients and cuts yourself. The oden is cut with scissors before serving to make it easier to eat, but that spoils its appearance, which is a bit unfortunate. It tastes great. A comfortable drinking spot if hygiene isn't a concern for you. ■サッポロ赤星 (medium bottle) 600円 ■櫻正宗 500円
View on GoogleDaitabashi 「きんせい」 An izakaya serving delicious oden, run by the wife earlier in the evening and the owner later on. Counter seating only; if everyone squeezes in, maybe about 7 people can sit…!? Sometimes they set up seats outside too🪑 The oden, thoroughly soaked with flavor, is simply delicious🍢 This feels like THE Japanese Showa-era izakaya🏮 The people running it and the regulars are kind, with the comforting feeling of being at your family home👏👏 I'll go again!
View on GoogleA place with only counter seats and a Showa-era feel. The regulars chatted with me in a friendly way and told me all sorts of things. It was fun. Oden seems to be available anytime, so I ordered daikon and burdock and had them with beer. Both the daikon and burdock were thoroughly infused with flavor and very good. Earlier on, a woman runs it alone, and after a while the owner, called 「Shige-san」, arrives and they seem to run it together. There were lots of fun-looking photos on the walls. I'd like to visit again as an izakaya to casually drop into.
View on GoogleThis is a quiet neighborhood place used by local residents. Most of the customers are regulars. But the regulars always welcome visitors warmly too. Although it's an old establishment, the interior facilities are clean and tidy, and the food is tasty for the price. I already miss the wonderful owner Shige-san, the friendly regulars, and a glass of shochu with delicious oden! It was so nice. They looked after me even more because I was Korean.
