I've been walking by this place for a while, on the way from the Sangenjaya train station, and I've been intrigued. So, today I tried it for lunch. It was a pleasant meal in a super busy place. Nothing outstanding about it, but also little to complain about. The place is very busy, and a line forms up the stairs. But it's a big dining room and turnover is fast. I only waited about 10-15 minutes before they gave me a table in the back of the dining room. You order with a QR code, but it's a basement restaurant and I was sitting in the rear, so I had very poor phone service. I had to ask for a wifi code just to order. I chose the sundubu lunch set with buchimgae and lots of pickles. I also ordered a cola. The food came quickly and it looked great. I dug right in. The buchingame was better than the sundubu. It was crisp on the outside, not too greasy, with a strong caramelized maillard reaction umami flavor. The inside was chewy and tender, with pleasant chunks of veggies and maybe squid (it was chewy like squid). The pickles and the kimchi was fantastic. It was all sweet and spicy, but not hot. I especially enjoyed the quail egg. They also gave me a few sheets of seaweed and a bowl of rice. It was a great value lunch set. I had more than enough to eat. The sundubu had great texture, especially the egg. There were also plenty of small clams, maybe even a scallop or two. The soft tofu was silky smooth. But the broth was a bit bland. I tried adding some soy sauce, but that wasn't good enough. I craved a more intense flavor, something more bold and robust. It was mostly just gochujang and a watery broth. Certainly the egg yolk added some richness, but rich without depth just isn't enough. Overall, I was happy with lunch. I felt like it was a fair value and I was full when I finished. But it didn't wow me.

Wanted to try this Korean place near home. It was a good decision and I really enjoyed the food at a very good price. Highly recommended. We have big portion of two types of fried chicken, plus a quite big Korean bbq and salad. The fried chicken was so good, especially the spicy one (I think it’s called magma, not sure), and also the bbq was juicy and so tasty. Maybe we ordered too much food (maybe next time I small portion of fried chicken) but all was so tasty and good. They have take out and I believe I will definitely order some fried chicken to take out next time 😀. Also price was reasonable. Thumbs up!

Great lunch spot with several set menus. The restaurant is located in B1 & was almost full during lunchtime on a Saturday. Food was excellent; I ordered he #3 which was the Korean pancake “jijimi” with cold noodle soup “reimen.” Will certainly visit here again when I am in the area.

Decent lunch sets, food is decent and portion size really depends on which set you get. Got here at 11:25 and already a line up the stairs, so get here early if you’re in a rush. Food and drinks came quick.
