Casual dinner on a boring Sunday evening when I did not feel like cooking. Always passing by but never stopped here. It has been a pleasant surprise! It’s dumpling /chinese (Taiwan?) restaurant. We order 3 different types of dumpling (plain, shiitake and crab) and all were good but we preferred the plain ones (which we ordered again 😀). We also had the spicy chicken and the boiled chicken and potato salad. We finished with the black sesame balls (as dessert). The chicken was juicy and tasty, both the spicy (garlic, chili and coriander) and the boiled one. I preferred the spicy ones and spicy food is my thing but the boiled one was good as well. The black sesame ball were a good finish of the meal and definitely suggested. Paid around 4000 yen per person with beer/drinks. Service staff was very polite and very fast (even if we were told that on busy days like Saturday it might take longer for the dumplings). Recommended (for a simple, tasty and casual meal). Will come back.
View on GoogleSo hospitable, the food was delicious and loved the atmosphere. We speak no Japanese so being able to order off an app and still have an intimate dining experience was great! We also had our two year old there and they were so accommodating and kind to her
View on Googletried their plain & scallop 小籠包& 魯肉飯 (pork rice). Usual 小籠包serving is 4pcs per type, but they allowed me to have 2pc each instead (pricing would become per piece). Taste is not bad considering the cheap price. I preferred the pork rice though.. (but the egg was tougher than usual..) At the end, the bill let me know that this place is an izakaya & not a restaurant, since I got charged ¥330 for the sazai appetizer (typical for izakaya). If you want to eat 小籠包 but not planning to drink alcohol, might be better to eat elsewhere..
View on GoogleThe truffle xiaolongbao is a special thing and very good. The Sichuan chicken and coriander salad are also awesome. Worth the visit and re visit.
View on GoogleFrom a Taiwanese point of view, 小籠包 is okay, but 魯肉飯 is really not good. It is a little bit expensive, not friendly for eat alone, 2 or 3 people share the meal is recommended.
