Beautiful wine and delicious pasta in an intimate setting. We tried the Genovese, alio olio and pasta arriabata and couldn’t decide a favourite. Owner was able to speak English and was happy to accomodate us even close to closing.

The restaurant's official social media account ーー Difficulty of visiting★★☆☆☆ 《Understand in 1 minute! Run's recommended highlights》 They serve generously filled sandwiches featuring seasonal ingredients on a variety of breads, including baguette, rye, and campagne. Lunch offers a 1050円 set with salad and a drink, while dinner features carefully selected wines, appetizers, croque monsieur, and more. There was 1 group of ladies, but it wasn't crowded and felt like a quiet restaurant. Maybe it's quite lively at night? They said I could sit wherever I liked, so I took a table. The lunch set comes with homemade potato salad, pickled baby peaches, and a drink. I chose the 「Croque monsieur (white bread)」 I'd been curious about after seeing it in reviews. A croque monsieur with boneless ham and cheddar cheese, topped with cheese cream and finished gratin-style… Even the description sounds delicious! The bread was crispy, with plenty of cheese. The flavor wasn't too strong, making it a nice, light lunch. The potato salad on the side tasted homemade. The pickled baby peaches should also be a hit with anyone who likes crunchy ume! There were pizza and pasta lunch sets too. Another group arrived around 12:30. Pleasantly quiet and perfect for anyone wanting a relaxed lunch. Thanks for the meal!

It's an Italian🇮🇹 restaurant right outside Higashi-Kitazawa Station✨ I went on the recommendation of the owner of a nearby beauty salon^ ^ They said croque monsieur was their signature dish, so I had the croque monsieur lunch set and white wine^ ^ The croque monsieur was baked crispy with a melty filling I really enjoyed it♪✨ The lunch set includes a soft drink, so I had a blend coffee. I was also curious about the curry🍛, limited to 5 servings a day, so I'll look forward to that next time^ ^

【Nearest station】 1-minute walk from Higashi-Kitazawa Station 【Budget】 1000〜2000 【Overview】 A bistro in a lovely location in the Shimokita・Higashi-Kitazawa Station area, which is currently being developed. Loved by locals, this place has a cheerful owner who brings out the best in the ingredients, offering pasta, croque monsieur, and more from breakfast through dinner. Neither the exterior nor the interior is overly decorated, giving it a homey feel. The menu changes according to that day's ingredients. 【Menu】 ・Croque monsieur 【Notes】 After finishing my morning work, I wanted a light lunch and discovered this place while walking around the station. The lunch menu is just under 1000, a lovely set with potato salad and a drink. ・Croque monsieur There was information out front too, which caught my interest, so I ordered it. It has boneless ham and cheddar cheese sandwiched inside, cheese cream spread on top, and a gratin-style finish. The boneless ham is thick, making it hearty and filling. Oven-baked until golden with a crispy texture, it's something I'd want for breakfast on a cold winter day. I finished with a blend coffee, which was also delicious. It suited my taste so perfectly that I couldn't help ordering another. Looking at the dinner menu, there were plenty of tempting individual dishes, and the stewed curry the person next to me was eating also caught my eye. It's made with simmered pork and beef tendons and the like, and was on the evening menu too. I'd like to order it next time. Thanks for the meal. ※At the time of posting 3.11 ------------------------------------- Thank you for reading to the end. I'd be happy if you liked & saved this!!
