A buddy of mine recommended this place for their tanranmen (担々麺). They have several varieties, but I went with the white version (白タンメン), and it might be the best I’ve had in Tokyo. Everything about it was delicious, from the chewy noodles to the spicy minced pork to the super tasty broth. I didn’t want to stop eating and drinking it. On top of this, they had some great gyoza. Specifically, the shimaru gyoza were fire. Small space so there may be a wait depending on when you go. Fast and friendly service.
View on GoogleWas in the mood for fried rice. This place delivered with a beautiful pork belly fried rice. I got a side a Karaage which was average. No English speaking. No English menu. So you know it’s good. My friend Josh enjoyed the food but he was complaining that his chair was lopsided and he couldn’t get comfortable. We check under the table and it turns out he was only wearing 1 sock, so it just appeared that he was sitting at an angle. None-the-less the food and atmosphere was really enjoyable.
View on GoogleWaiters have a terrible attitude; they ignore every request only except you are ordering something, especially awful when the amount is wrong on the bill and they don't even listen. Strongly suggest DO NOT step into this shop! I ordered チャーシュー麺and ランチ弁当, according to the menu,it should be ¥1600 with the tax ,but he charged me for ¥1758, And when I ask him how much the food is,he just told me you have already paid.
View on GoogleIt’s good but the food can be a bit oily. Also the staff attitude could be better.
View on GoogleNice little gyoza place on my ride home from work. Staff were very polite and friendly, gyoza weren't outstanding but still went down well with a beer. I came through around 12:30am and many of the other customers were drunk and rowdy but guess I can't complain given the hour I came by! Will come back again another time
