This is one of my favorite pancake restaurants, and it has several branches. This time, I visited the Kitazawa branch. The restaurant has a clean, bright, and airy design with a simple white theme, making it a very comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. They serve both savory and sweet pancakes. The pancakes are fluffy soufflé-style, soft and light. The vegetables are also very fresh, tasty, and refreshing. I always enjoy my visits here and have a great experience every time. I highly recommend this place if you love pancakes!
View on GoogleWe were lucky that we didn't have to wait, but shortly after we arrived, a line started forming outside. The food was good overall, but I found their "one drink per person" policy a bit odd. I was dining with my 6-year-old son, who ordered the full pancake meal, so I didn't understand why ordering a drink was mandatory in that situation. I noticed that around 80% of the customers were foreigners, but the staff didn't seem very comfortable communicating in English. We also ordered the chocolate sauce on the side. Everyone in our group felt the portion was much smaller than expected, so we took a few photos to help future customers know what they're ordering. That said, the pancakes were delicious, and the chocolate sauce itself tasted great.
View on GoogleFlipper’s was simply perfect. The soufflé pancakes were unbelievably light, fluffy and full of flavour, topped with fresh strawberries and cream that tasted as good as they looked. Every bite was outstanding and it’s easy to see why people queue for them. What really made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and efficient, creating a great atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Be warned – these pancakes are addictive! Once you’ve tried them, you’ll already be thinking about when you can come back for another. A must-visit if you’re in Tokyo. Highly recommended. 🍓🇯🇵
View on GoogleHad apple cinnamon pancakes which was a perfect mix. The pancake wasn’t too sweet and perfectly balanced the cinnamon sugar and syrup. Server spoke good English. While you could share pancakes, each diner had to order 1 drink each. Yummy break after shopping.
View on GoogleThe drinks were mandatory and overpriced. ¥700 for “lemonade,” which really was just Sprite and two slices of lemon. Apparently for health benefits since they included the seeds with the slices 🙃. The pancakes admittedly were fluffy but cold like a carcass. Doesn’t live up to the hype. If you want to visit, appear 30 minutes before, not wait 3 hours like we did on the cold sidewalk.
