This is one of my favourite spots in Sangenjaya! Incredible Japanese-Chinese fusion food that is amazing value for money. Also, the staff are so kind and friendly, I love chatting with them!
View on GoogleThe restaurant has the best smokey dimsun. I have never experience such a good dinsum in tokyo. Everything here is nice. People are great and the food is actually insanly good. They even sell packs for you to bring home and it's microwave ready.

View on GoogleIt's delicious, but it's a Chinese restaurant where you need to watch out for mosquitoes in summer. It's the former site of a curry shop that an old lady used to run. Dine-in closed at the end of July 2026, and apparently another restaurant business will be moving in. It's a shame, because the iron-pot mapo tofu had nice spiciness and a light saltiness. I'm not sure whether you can eat it at the dine-in at Hikarie.
View on GoogleI went for the Shanghai hairy crab course in November 2024. Each person picks apart their own freshly steamed crab. The meat was tender and exceptional. I love the roe (uchiko). Three crabs were served in total, so I could compare male and female. Each was maybe about 200g. The crab alone is a luxury, but the course also included seared char siu, dim sum, and medicinal herbal soup, until I was about to burst. And to finish, beef brisket noodles. Having meat and carbs within a seafood-centered course really boosts the overall satisfaction, doesn't it. On the way home, I bought dim sum sold at the storefront as a souvenir, so my family was well taken care of too. This was quietly very welcome. It's close to Sangenjaya Station, and I think it's a convenient place where you can casually enjoy authentic Chinese food without going all the way to Yokohama Chinatown. I'll be back!
