Best soup curry I've ever had. The first impression is the amazing aroma from the soup that fills the whole restaurant. I had the chicken curry, which was really tender and every vegetable was fresh and cooked to perfection. I need to try out some other popular shops to compare, but I hear from more experienced soup curry eaters that this is one of the better ones and good baseline to measure others. I'll definitely be back again. Update 2019-05-25: 2nd visit. Had the 980 yen weekday lunch set even at 4pm - bonus! We had chicken soup curry, which was tough, and ham cutlet soup curry, which was better sans toughness. The soup curry is still great.

Small, but lively place. Was packed during lunch time on a Monday, but we were quickly seated. There are many curry options to choose from including a completely vegetarian one. You can choose your own spice level, rice portions, and add extra toppings for additional charges. Portions are big. Everything was delicious! If you’re looking for a good soup curry spot in Shimokitazawa, look no further!

Came here again for the curry soup. Ordered 14 vegetables soup curry and you can choose the spicy level. I had medium and can taste the hotness but not like chilli hot. The lassi cost 280 yen serves in a latte glass and delicious.

I got the hamburg and vegetable set. Spiciness level 40. It was good, a bit spicy but not so much that you sweat. The vegetables were fresh and plenty, and it was a fantastic and tasty variety. The hamburg was seasoned perfectly, and tender and tasty too. I would come back when I’m back in the area.

We chanced upon this place when the first restaurant we wanted to eat at was full, and we were overall happy with the food. The weather was pleasant so we sat out (it was almost full indoors) and we scanned a QR code to order - pretty straight forward. The curry was tasty, vegetables fresh and the chicken was tender and flavourful. Staff were nice too.
