Cozy hole-in-the-wall known for tsukemen, where ramen noodles & broth are served separately.

Highly rated tsukemen place which also serves light (assari) and thick (kotteri) broth chuka soba and in the evenings also abura soba (noodles in oil-based sauce but no broth). Side dishes like gyoza and rice are available plus different additional toppings like scallions and bamboo shoots. The tsukemen noodles are the real deal - very smooth and in the right texture. The broth is served cold - it’s a bit spicy with very soft cubes of pork - not bad at all. Recommended.

Broth is on the light side which is to my own preference, and has lots of flavour. Pork is well prepared.

The back fat ramen is realy good. The soup is lightly salted and goes very well with the sweetness of the back fat. The back fat ramen looks quite greasy, but when I tried it, it was very light and I enjoyed it all the way through. Next time I come back, I will try the most popular tsukemen.

Came here on the recommendation from a Japanese friend from work. Had the tsukemen which came with a pork and shrimp broth—really unique and tasty. The noodles and broth were a little thinner than other tsukemen I’ve had but I actually thought that made it easier to eat it all. Would definitely recommend. No smoking, cash only (ticket machine).
