We bumbled into this place almost by accident. It's tiny and seats maybe 20 on the first floor. That being said though, the atmosphere is great. It's got the vibe of the classic "hole-in-the-wall" Japanese place I loved when I was an exchange student. Prices are fair and clearly marked on the wall so there's no question if the cost. The lady that runs it is friendly and nice. Walking in, besides the LCD tv, you couldn't tell if this was present day, the 90s, 80s, etc. Food was great and cooked fresh.
View on GoogleWe had a lovely experience here with the owner who was working on her own. We only know a little Japanese, but they showed us so much kindness and generosity. The gyoza and fried rice are great and we enjoyed our noodles which were so reasonably priced. Please go enjoy and be patient and kind.
View on GoogleA neighborhood Chinese restaurant run by an older lady on her own. The well-worn interior is dim, and the floor is sticky with grease. Since it's a one-person operation, water is self-service. I ordered 広東麺 with a half portion of rice(900円). The noodles are thin, the soup is light, the thickened sauce is stronger, and the toppings are mainly napa cabbage and pork, with no seafood. Besides the half portion of rice, it also came with 2 gyoza and pickled daikon. I came here at short notice because the nearby soba shop 丸屋 had closed, but I'm not sure about next time.
