Very unique and high quality Chinese-style soba! We loved the sardine base and found the atmosphere to be very accommodating. We will be back!! Ticket machine only accepts ¥1,000 notes.
View on GoogleVery popular, small ramen shop. Sit around 7 people. Ten minutes before they opened on a weekday there were already 10 people in line outside. I got the pork and wonton ramen with a refill of noodles (kaedama) and it was a lot of good! The soup is very fish based, so if that’s your cup of tea this is a place for you, just be prepared to wait in line.
View on GoogleThe ramen was incredible. I got the normal chuuka soba and the pork and smoked chicken toppings were impressively prepared. The taste and texture was fresh and the best I've had in a long time. The chashu gohan (pork topped rice) was also fresh and a great side with the ramen. The onion sauce it came with was a unique topping that made the dish more enjoyable. My favorite part about nishikawa was the service. The staff was so kind and friendly. They kept the shop clean and looked like they enjoyed their work. I recommend everyone to visit this shop even if there is a long line.
View on GoogleThe ramen was better than I expected, and the meat was delicious.
View on GoogleMatter of preference‥. This ramen is very heavy on broth made from niboshi (dried baby sardines). For someone who likes this type of ramen, its out of this world. The chashu pork is cooked medium rare and is smoky in flavor and matches the broth well. Gave it 5 stars because it is made well.
