Located in a residential area of 三軒茶屋2丁目, it's easy to find thanks to its vividly colored building. It has a dignified presence, and the impressive banner celebrating its 50th anniversary shows it's well established in the community. There are 6 counter seats and 2 tables; the larger table looks like it could seat up to 4 people together. The lineup includes neighborhood Chinese restaurant staples such as noodles, fried rice, and stir-fries, at affordable prices. For better or worse, the ramen is old-fashioned chicken-bone shoyu. The gyoza are slightly large, vegetable-heavy, light, and juicy. Overall, delicious and satisfying. At lunchtime it's bustling with regulars recognized on sight, but the proprietress's efficient, capable service keeps everything smooth, from seating to ordering and serving. Cash payment only.
View on GoogleLunch at 「松楽」 in 三軒茶屋. The place Aki-chan visited on 町中華で飲ろうぜ. Walked straight in a little after 13:00. It seemed to have lots of regulars and a high proportion of drinkers too (lol) The staff are very friendly, so I think even on a first visit, you can go in without feeling too intimidated. From reading reviews beforehand, the appetizer served with alcohol apparently isn't just a tiny helping of edamame or something. So I ordered only 五目チャーハン for 800円 and a bottled beer for 600円. (Both prices include tax) The medium bottles were a choice of 赤星 and キリン, and of course I chose 赤星. While I was drinking, 2 appetizers arrived. Teriyaki chicken thigh and grilled squid. The portions weren't large, but unlike at an izakaya, there's no appetizer charge, which is really nice. I can sort of see why so many people drink here(^^) The fried rice was exceptionally moist. It was a level I liked, but fans of separate, fluffy grains might get angry (lol) Unfortunately, the salt and umami were a little weak. It's good that there's no unpleasant aftertaste, but the fried rice didn't leave much of an impression. Maybe it's good alongside noodles. Perhaps the best way to enjoy this neighborhood Chinese restaurant is to come at night and use it like an izakaya. The shochu they stock is キンミヤ too^^
View on GoogleGreat flavor The owner, staff, and customers are all nice people, and it's quite a lively Chinese restaurant. For the fried yakisoba here, each noodle strand is fried individually, and the sauce is very thick, so you can enjoy the crispy texture right to the end. They have many carefully made dishes, so I keep coming back.

View on GoogleI ordered miso ramen. In terms of flavor, it's much more lightly seasoned than typical miso ramen. However, perhaps because the stir-fried vegetables on top are well salted, it wasn't bland; it had a gentle flavor and was enjoyable to the last bite. At 850円 for the bowl pictured, it's also quite cheap considering ramen prices these days. If I had to name a drawback, it's that despite the restaurant being non-smoking (including electronic cigarettes), the owner smokes inside when he's not busy… If smoking is banned because it bothers other customers, is his own smoking an exception, or does he think his smoking is no problem as long as there aren't many customers… Either way, I don't think it's commendable behavior…
