Went in around 13:30. The atmosphere inside felt closer to authentic Chinese cuisine than a Japanese-style neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Ordered mixed fried rice with shiba shrimp and a medium bottle (all prices include tax). They arrived in under 5 minutes. The shrimp are hidden in the photo, but there were 4~5, and a fair amount of finely chopped ingredients too, so it did feel like mixed fried rice. The frying was on the slightly moist side. The color was somewhat dark. I couldn't tell whether it came from chashu sauce or tamari soy sauce, but the seasoning had that sort of slight sweetness and richness. My impression was of gentle seasoning that was still properly delicious, and if this is their approach to seasoning, I thought their other dishes might all be good too. It seems best to come in the evening with a few people and try various things.
View on GoogleThe gyoza came out still frozen, with crunchy ice inside. There was hair and dust in them too. I tried to be discreet and quietly let them know, but the woman working there angrily shouted back, “They're bought in, so the inside is fine.” “If you have a complaint, get out.” That's what she told me. Apparently she's the owner's wife. I'll never go again. After leaving, I had a stomachache. I'll contact the public health center.
View on GoogleI've lived in Kyodo for about 6 years. I've been to all kinds of restaurants, but I recommend the Chinese food here. My reasons are summarized below. ◆Price: Average (I'm happy that each dish comes in a generous portion) ◆Taste: Delicious (Even a layperson can tell it's different from chain restaurants. ※Chains are delicious too; I mean that you can taste this restaurant's own character) ◆Atmosphere: Local (It's far from the station, so I get the impression the customers live nearby.) ◆Clientele: Families, solo diners, couples, and so on. (Recommended for all groups.) If you come to Kyodo, do stop by. Once you visit, I think you'll find a place where time passes leisurely and you can understand how the locals feel.
View on GoogleWhatever you eat is highly satisfying. It's closer to authentic Chinese cuisine than neighborhood Chinese food, but the prices are reasonable and the portions generous, making this a popular place I'd like to visit once a month. Personally, I always order gomoku soba, gomoku yakisoba, gyoza, spring rolls, and green onion fried rice. I love the fried chicken too🍗
View on GoogleI visited close to 13:00 on Sunday, and several groups of neighborhood regulars were each having loud drinking parties. Perhaps because we came in when it was almost full, the person serving looked a little annoyed, but directed us to seats by the entrance, so we immediately ordered today's special sets A and C. Was it because of the partying customers? Our orders took ages to arrive, making me a little anxious. The gyoza came first, scattered messily on the plate, but there wasn't much point eating just those, so we left them and waited a while longer, and then the fried rice arrived. I thought this too would have made a different impression if it had been plated a bit more carefully, but my order was complete, so I started eating the fried rice and gyoza. Taste is subjective, so it's hard to say, but the gyoza🥟 wrappers felt thick and greasy, and the fried rice didn't have separate grains and was a little burnt. My companion's half-size ramen didn't arrive until the fried rice was finished, which was a little disappointing. But it's cheap, so perhaps that's just how it is? Still, I wonder whether the belongings in front of the toilet violate the Fire Service Act…
