Unlike the traditional burger which is tough and dry, the burger steak of this shop is home (and hand) made, it is tender and juicy.
View on GoogleQuiet little restaurant, lovely Showa-period decor, and a simple, delicious menu - the home-made hamburger steak is the star attraction
View on GoogleI've been seeing all kinds of hamburger steaks lately, but this place serves the classic demi-glace version, which was soft and very delicious! Apparently the owner handles service alone, so the pace was a little relaxed. I saw reviews mentioning a lack of friendliness, but apparently he can't hear in one ear, which might make him seem that way.
View on GoogleI visited for lunch. The atmosphere is calm, so you can enjoy a leisurely meal. There are 3 tables and counter seats, and it's not that spacious, so I'd recommend visiting with 1〜2 people. Lunch included a main dish, a small side, soup, and even an after-meal drink, all for under 1,500 yen!! It's delicious and generously portioned, so it's satisfying! As the menu also says, the owner cooks alone, so it's best to go when you have time to spare! (By the way, the serving speed was just right, and I wasn't bothered) 〜Lunches ordered〜 ⭐︎Hamburger steak lunch The hamburger steak was shaped after the order came in, which gave it a handmade feel! It had plenty of meat juices and a springy texture, with ratatouille on the plate too, and was delicious. The small side was dashimaki tamago, and the soup was onion soup! ⭐︎ちゃぶ台 curry A spiced, slightly hot curry The fried egg and sausages went well with it and were delicious! The rice was glossy, and both meals were satisfying// ※I was hungry and forgot to take pictures of the food…😢 Thank you for the meal
View on GoogleTrue to its name, “ちゃぶ台”, the restaurant has a tatami area with a chabudai table. Not just the table—the whole restaurant is thoroughly Showa-era and full of retro charm. I tried its signature hamburger steak. Packed with meat juices and juicy yet soft, it had a gentle, delicate flavor with depth. It paired wonderfully with the demi-glace sauce, exactly the flavor of a carefully prepared hamburger steak at a yoshoku restaurant. The ratatouille, which goes beyond being merely a side, was delicious too. The rolled omelet contained creamy cheese, giving it a distinctive touch. As you'd expect from a yoshoku restaurant, the soup was Western-style too, making a nice lunch combination. At 1000 yen including a drink, it's excellent value. As someone born in the Showa era, I find this atmosphere truly relaxing. I'd like to try the tatami area with the chabudai table at the back someday. At this restaurant run single-handedly by its gentle owner, I enjoyed a soothing lunchtime amid my hectic daily life. Thank you for the meal.
