Hidden away on the second floor of an unassuming building, this adorable cafe is run by one hardworking lady. There are 8 seats in the entire place, and a small menu of absolutely delicious sandwiches (as well as some other options), my favorite being the BLT. On days when the cafe was full and to go orders were coming in, the quality of the food did not drop. As the weather got colder, blankets were set out to make the experience more comfortable. She also recently added an English menu, which makes it more accessible. I studied abroad in the area for 4 months, and I would go at least once a week (sometimes more). The sandwiches never got old. Genuinely some of the best food I've ever had. My girlfriend was visiting at some point, and we had gone a couple times, but when she was sick at home the food she asked for was a sandwich from bluscafe. My mom visited too and was blown away. The ingredients are so fresh and the bread is toasted to perfection, just thin enough to not overpower the ingredients but instead compliment them. This small cafe is one of the things I will miss most when I head home in a couple days. Thank you for everything, bluscafe!! Next time I go to Japan, I'll visit bluscafe!! See you!

Small cafe with a friendly, relaxing atmosphere and enjoyable sandwich lunch sets on the 2nd floor. It's a great spot to grab lunch in the Sangenjaya area and the chef was very kind.

Amazing, cozy lunch spot. I come here very often, and it feels like having a meal from home. The woman who runs the cafe is very lovely and kind. The service is fast and the food and drinks are always great. I’m vegetarian and there is a great egg salad sandwich. I have asked for the tomato mozzarella salad without chicken before and she was so accommodating which I really appreciate in Japan. I have brought several people here, and it is always a hit!

The owner is super friendly. Good atmosphere and tasty foods! Wish they opened more days. (They open only 3-4 days a week)
