This coffee shop is famous for its dirty latte, for a dirty lover, the dirty is rich but not as sweet as those ‘dirty’ out there which it’s a bonus! I don’t see where the bad reviews of the flavour of dirty coming and after staying in Tokyo for days, I realised there’s quite lot of coffee priced over 1000, there’s no point saying this 800+ coffee is too expensive. The coffee shop is small tho, I was asked to move to a smaller table when 4 other customers came in, but it’s understandable. It’s a relaxing moment in this coffee shop when seeing people walking around the street.
View on GoogleThe hype is justified in this case—really superb, flavorful, pleasantly bitter taste. I had the “dirty latte.” The ambience is like it’s out of someone’s garage, and it’s not immediately obvious from the street when you’re standing in front of it. Limited seating, but I had no trouble ordering and sitting down—unlike some famous places, there’s no line out the door. Many coffee places in this area, but I think this is the one to pick. English spoken.
View on GoogleWish I could take a sip of Angle Stain, the one I follow couple years since my friend's comment. But I couldn't. Service is so limited. Drinks are excellent - especially the dark roasted espresso with very pleasent and wonderfull bitterness
View on GoogleCame for their dirty coffee after seeing it on the menu. I’ve had a lot of dirty coffees in Bangkok and enjoyed them, so I was looking forward to trying one here. The dirty coffees I’ve had were typically served in a chilled glass and hit you with that bold espresso flavor first, followed by very cold, creamy milk that created a nice contrast. Here, the espresso was much milder than expected and the milk wasn’t chilled enough, so the contrast and layering weren’t as pronounced. The cup is on the pricier side for the size at ¥790. Seating is limited, though there are a few spots outside and by the windows that make for good people-watching in Shimokitazawa. I’m glad I tried it, but I probably wouldn’t come back.
View on GoogleWell known as the birth place of infamous Dirty Latte, I admit that the dirty latte here is amazing and beyond comparison. I am not sure if it is the coffee or the milk, it just tastes delicious. If you’re a coffee drinker and coffee lover and in the area, make sure to visit this coffee store to try. It has other coffee menu though.
