I LOVE YOUR RAMEN, SUPER DELICIOUS They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. The ramen was especially memorable (first photo) Must try!

A shop I found while exploring by bicycle. I went in after seeing the 'Yokohama Tanmen' sign, but apparently the owner is from mainland China. Lately there really are more and more shops run by mainland Chinese people, and you can usually tell from the storefront so I can avoid them, but this time I couldn't spot it beforehand. The inside is quite spacious, and the floor staff seemed to be the owner's wife; she was very kind to us, which surprised me a little. The shop is plastered with menu posters, which may be the same style as other mainland-style Chinese places; I ordered the 'Tanmen Set' with 'tanmen + 4 gyoza'. I started with the tanmen, which came out 10 minutes later, and as expected it had the typical mainland-style flavor: quite light in taste with a somewhat strong umami seasoning. The gyoza had plenty of filling and were pretty good, which saved me. The woman on the floor was kind and that helped a lot, but overall this is the rating I ended up with. Personally I won't be going back, but for a mainland-style place, I think it was a pretty pleasant shop.

The taste is good. They have a PayPay 10% campaign sticker up, but the campaign didn't apply. Afterwards it did apply at another shop, so it doesn't seem like the campaign ended because it hit its cap. False advertising? Before, they claimed you could use PayPay, but the way it worked was having you send money to the owner's smartphone. Since it's that kind of shop, I can't trust their cashless payments. Other than that, the taste is good.

Went in as a pair at 11:40 on a Saturday. 2 customers before us, then 15 more came in one after another. Ordered the 'Otsukaresama Set' for 1,480 yen with a draft beer. The 2 dishes ×2 were century egg tofu, homemade pan-fried gyoza, chinjao rosu, and stir-fried shrimp and egg. The finisher was the 'tanmen' the shop is named after, but, well~ it's average.
