This place is freakin amazing! The gentlemen (manager) is extremely kind and considerate of his patrons and goes out of his way to ensure a great dining experience. If you are around Kamata this place is a must try.

Coming from germany, the food was ridiculously good! You can order with a tablet which is really comfortable especially if you don't japanese as most of the images are quite self explanatory, google leans does the job as well. The food got served quite fast as well as re ordering (e.g. rice). The food was really good and, in my opinion, not really expensive (especially compared to germany). They have a wide variety of different meat as well as other dishes such as bibimbap and soups (e.g. wakame sea weed). Overall really good and would do again (actually went there three times during my stay).

Great restaurants if you want to have wagyu Yakiniku style.

On a Saturday night, I wanted to ease the fatigue from returning from a trip and no longer had the energy to cook dinner. My partner and I stopped by 「焼肉 弘城」 for the first time in a while. It was just after 19:00, and, as expected, this was the busiest time, with the restaurant nearly full. Luckily, we were immediately shown to one of the few available tables. 「焼肉 弘城」 is one of 蒲田's long-established, much-loved yakiniku restaurants, founded in 1983. Despite its location in front of the station, the spacious interior has ventilation that keeps you from noticing the grill smoke, making it a pleasant place to settle in and relax. Touchscreen ordering is available too, which makes it nice to order at your own pace without hesitation. That day, we had: ・厚切り特選タン（2,970円） ・厚切りハラミステーキ（2,288円×2） ・豚トロ（880円） ・白菜キムチ（583円） ・センマイ刺し（825円） ・ハーフカルビスープ（605円） ・冷麺（1,155円）and ハーフ冷麺（1,155円） ・青ネギムンチ（440円） ・ニンニクオイル焼き（583円） We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the classics to the side dishes. Rice and the drink bar too. First came the reliably good 厚切り特選タン. Despite its substantial thickness, it was tender, with umami bursting out as you chewed. Its clear, solid flavor was satisfying with salt alone. The ハラミステーキ that followed was irresistibly juicy, with meat juices oozing out. The meat had a firm texture without being heavy, and a rich sweetness from the fat. Come to think of it, 壺漬けハラミ was depicted in the manga ファミレス行こ。, but I've never ordered it. Maybe I'll try it next time. And above all, there's the kimchi here. The napa cabbage has just the right balance of acidity and sweetness, pairing perfectly with fatty yakiniku. Overall, the food came quickly and the staff were pleasant, so I didn't feel stressed even though it was crowded. Despite feeling tired from the trip, I could feel my energy gradually returning as I ate the yakiniku. Payment was smooth, with PayPay accepted. The appeal of 「焼肉 弘城」 lies in its “unchanging deliciousness” and “space where you can relax with ease.” Visiting after a while reminded me of how good it is. Next time, I'd like to enjoy that outstanding kimchi again alongside 壺漬けハラミ. Thank you for the meal!
