Tried this spot based on a recommendation from a friend, and it was a fantastic experience! The Ordering System & Service: We arrived around 11:00 AM, and there was already a line forming outside. One thing I really appreciated was how efficient they are: staff members take your order while you are still waiting in line. Because of this streamlined process, the food comes out very quickly once you get seated inside. The Food: The Tonkatsu: The pork cutlet is top-tier. The crust is light and crispy, while the meat inside is amazingly thick, tender, and juicy. The Soup: The accompanying pork soup (tonjiru) is deeply comforting and savory. While it leans slightly on the saltier side, it is incredibly flavorful and complements the rich tonkatsu perfectly. Verdict: An outstanding local tonkatsu spot that is well worth standing in line for! Highly recommended!
View on GoogleA super popular fried pork cutlet (I.e. tonkatsu) restaurant. Take no reservations. People line up before they open at 11am. Their last order is shortly after 1pm for lunch. Lunch set comes with rice, tonjiru soup, pickled vegetables, and shredded cabbages. Meat is super tender and high quality. The chef cooks it to perfection. The sauce was very tasty. Cash payments only.
View on Googleyummy tonkatsu, and big portion (i ordered the small one lol), also super friendly staffs🫶🏻. Rice served right before the tonkatsu is served love!
View on GoogleBest tonkatsu ! crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Chef breads each piece of pork before serving us. We ordered fillet and loin sets - the rice portion is big, miso soup is delicious and the vegatable salad is fresh and crunchy. Worth the 40 minutes wait outside the restaurant.
View on GoogleHands down the best tonkatsu i ever had, the wait staff is really cheerful and friendly too! The pork was thick and juicy and fried to a perfect medium, every piece was juicy and deliciously fatty. We splurged out and got the gokujo tonkatsu and added an ebifry for a total of ¥3600 per person but it was worth every cent
