Very very good do not miss

「和紀」 is a renowned spot inside 大田市場 that every tonkatsu lover should visit at least once. This place is truly incredible. What makes it incredible? The quality far exceeds what you would expect for 1100円. This time I had the 「牡蠣ヒレカツ定食」. They are so particular that they make the breadcrumbs and fry everything only after an order comes in, and the way the coating stands up is completely different. The oysters are so large and fresh that milky juices gush out the moment you bite into them. And the hire katsu! One bite made me understand why all the regulars around me were ordering the fillet. It is unbelievably tender, with a deeply rich meat flavor. They are generous too: rice is free up to an extra-large serving. As a place that keeps the market workers fed, it certainly delivers on portion size. The special salt brings out the sweetness of the meat, while the sauce makes it impossible to stop eating rice. The location is certainly not easy to reach, but it is absolutely worth making the trip. Next time I want to try the rosu katsu or the curry people around me were ordering! This fried-food paradise was fantastic.

This is a tonkatsu place near our office. We always order delivery when guests come or when we have meetings. The manager is very cheerful and fun. This time I ate tonkatsu hoping to win tickets. And I actually won. The 和紀スペシャル came with loin, fillet, and karaage, and was a hefty portion for a woman. Everything was delicious.
