Had the 上ロースかつ定食. Was really good. Meat was tender and side dishes were tasty. Store itself is small fitting about 8 people inside. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area. Earns the Michelin bib rating.
View on Googlewas absolutely delicious😁 had the pork, it was very tender and juicy, thank you for having us
View on GoogleIt is tasty, but the quantity and the price are disappointing. If the price would be x1.5 lower, I would set 5 stars.
View on GoogleLocated in Kojiya Shopping Street, about a 5-minute walk from Kojiya Station on the Keikyu Haneda Line. The shop's green color is conspicuous, so it's easy to understand. After entering, there is a ticket machine on the left, and you buy a ticket before sitting down. I didn't quite understand so I asked the boss and he taught me very politely. I ordered the upper loin tonkatsu set. The pork here is called SPF Avocado Pork, a pig raised by adding avocado to the feed. The fat is sweet and delicious. The red meat has a decent texture, but the taste of the meat was very delicious. In many reviews, the talk of Michelin Bib Gourmand always comes up (I don't like being rated by a foreign company in the first place), but if it's delicious, it's good, and I want you to look at the boss's consideration and small customer service rather than such things. By the way, the pork soup (tonjiru) here is seasoned with sesame oil, and I have visited many tonkatsu shops, but this was a first-time taste.
View on GoogleAn amazing shop has opened in Kojiya that doesn't fit (sorry). Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand winning shop! A shop that bets on meat quality and cooking quality. Both katsu and side dishes are meticulous, and overall high level. Personally, I think this is a shop where you can understand the true value only by eating the 3300 yen upper shoulder loin or upper fillet. The upper shoulder loin is indeed not cheap, but it is meat that is worth the price. Anyway, the meat quality is silky, and although there is enough umami, the melting point of the fat is low, so it is light and moist. Good meat that is not there. The breadcrumbs are thin ones that do not disturb this, tonkatsu where the meat is completely the protagonist. [Comparison with nearby shops] In terms of the impact of umami derived from aging and volume per price, Akatsuki in Kamata and Enraku in Ikegami lead by one step. In that sense, for those who are "tonkatsu for the first time in a long time", the above two shops are recommended. However, in terms of good meat quality, meticulous frying, and delicious side dishes, Furu-mi wins. If you are used to eating tonkatsu, Furu-mi is the most recommended. Honestly, I think every shop is one point of achievement as a tonkatsu shop. This is already a matter of preference, so please choose your favorite shop. Rather, I am grateful to be able to enjoy different types of tonkatsu at such a close distance. Rice, miso soup, and pickles are also delicious. The cabbage is also fresh and tastes sweet. (Can refill!) Beer (Yebisu) is also the best pour with creamy foam! Iburigakko served as a companion to beer is also pleasing.
