Haneda Airport Terminal 2 is very clean, organized, and easy to move through. Signs are clear, security is fast, and staff are polite and helpful. The shops and cafés are good, and the atmosphere is calm, making travel smooth and comfortable. A great experience overall.

One of the better airports in Japan...no... the whole world! Had a pleasant experience waiting to board my flight for Fukuoka. Not a dull moment in the airport. Not so crowded. The view here is really great for passing time! Vending machines are everywhere. Water fountains are not lacking and of course, restrooms are adequate and clean. The pictures here shows my carryon bag on the sill. My airline has just parked or actually cleaned and getting ready for boarding. Very serene... No commotion. Passengers sit idly, if not staring across the wonderful view window... minding their own business. Haneda Airport is underrated. Coming here via linimo or magnalev (whatever they locally call it) is a great experience.

Pbservation Deck is on the 5th Floor (5F). Only certain elevators go pas the 3rd floor, so pay attention when you get in an elevator. The elevators going to the 5th Floor are near the circular area. Great views of airplanes and Tokyo. Air conditioning and indoors, with food options a short walk away. There is also an outdoor portion if you want to smell the JP-8 burning. If you're into airplanes, I recommend stopping here for a bit to get food and views.

Best spot for plane spotters, it's got indoor and outdoor observation viewing areas. Highlight is the pay to use binoculars that is kept in the area, 100 yen only, can be paid thru coin or IC cards

Fantastic views of the airfield and the aircraft (predominately ANA). There are 2 sides to the outside decks and lots of seating both inside and out.
