Don’t get put off by the name or the restaurant description if you are a female - as the food is completely wonderful and tasty by female standard too! I’d recommend getting the JPY1,800 omakase course which comes with four generous dishes (see photos). It completely fills your stomach. There’s no draft beer served at this izakaya but I’m happy with my craft beer from Kagawa. Would recommend this to anyone in the area.

An izakaya down a side alley off the ミルパ shopping street. The owner has a striking rocker look. Our 2nd stop tonight. After 19:00 on a weekday, the counter was full, but we were offered a table at the back and went in. Ordered today's omakase (4 dishes, 1,800円) and the house sake. The cooking is impressive. Warasu carpaccio with chrysanthemum greens genovese, grilled hedai with maitake sauce, and 信玄鳥 chicken stir-fried in nori cream—all delicious! The sake is dry and good too. The sign promising “Men's cooking and delicious drinks” tells no lies. Excellent comfort and value. Made me want to visit again lol.

Our 2nd stop bar-hopping around Omori Station. Contrary to its appearance, the place mainly serves Japanese food. There's a fairly wide selection of sake. To go with it, this time I had sashimi and salted kombu pasta. Really enjoyed it. Thanks a mountain for the meal⛰.

My first visit to a place where I'd always seen regulars having fun at the counter whenever I passed. ○Appetizer ○Omakase set (4 dishes) ・Shark heart sashimi (topped with smoked sesame seeds!) ・Grilled chicken (with plenty of salad!) ・Butter-grilled cod liver (meltingly soft and delicious!) ・Special chive gyoza (even the ponzu and yuzu kosho are homemade!) With one beer and one sake, everything came to 2900円. Completely satisfied with this affordable, generous, delicious men's cooking◎ Apparently they're open until “roughly” 12 at night.

A recommended spot for men's cooking‼️ Everything is superb😁 If it were nearby, I'd be going all the time‼️
