Absolutely wonderful food and staff. Their tempura was the best I’ve had in Tokyo so far. The batter itself was so tasty and the shrimp fresh and huge. The udon soup had so much toppings and the broth was delicious. The hospitality extended by the owner/chef made the dining experience much more memorable and heartwarming. My husband and I will definitely go back a few more times before we leave Tokyo.
View on GoogleDelicious food, and the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming (they alsonhave English picture menus). The hot udon was so tasty - I highly recommend! The chef came out to thank us for visiting his restaurant (a family owned restaurant, for three generations). He used Google Translate to communicate if he needed to, though his English was good, and he really made us feel welcome. As this was our final meal before leaving Japan, we were pleased to have such a lovely last memory 😊
View on GoogleWe were looking for dinner at around 7pm and came across this restaurant near our hotel. They mainly serve Soba (noodles). I ordered cold soba and my wife ordered a hot soba. The owner was super friendly and spoke some English. I then realised that more than guests from 58 countries had visited his restaurant. It is an interesting to note that he placed all the flags of all these countries in his menu. I suggest you visit this place as it’s very old school. I love the vibes and the way the owner treats his guests. A strong recommendation for those who love sobas.
View on GoogleMy husband found this on his way back to our hotel so we decided to pop in for lunch and try their noodles. We are soo glad we did. Not only is their food delicious but the staff and owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. This made the experience even better and tempted us to return the next day for dinner. If you find yourselves in the area, definitely come and try their food for an authentic Japanese experience with appreciative hosts. 100% recommend!
View on GoogleWe were in Japan for three weeks and this was the friendliest place of all. The chef came out and asked where we were from mentioning Justin Bieber and the Weeknd when he found out we were from Canada. Food was good and priced well. I had the hot shrimp tempura soba. Broth was well seasoned. A memorable experience for the family.
